An established two-location pharmacy given a dedicated, bilingual home for its compounding specialization, built to grow it across the Cornwall area.
Pharmasave South Stormont Pharmacies is an established, trusted two-location independent pharmacy, Pharmasave Long Sault and Pharmasave Ingleside, serving the broader Cornwall area with deep compounding expertise. To grow its compounding service beyond its home communities, the pharmacy needed a dedicated home for that expertise, one distinct from its busy general-pharmacy website and built to reach the patients across the area looking for compounding.
Objective
Pharmasave South Stormont wanted to grow its compounding specialization across the Cornwall area without diluting the trusted equity of its established pharmacy brand. The goal was a dedicated, professional home for compounding: a purpose-built microsite, Compounding Wellness, on a compounding-focused domain, presented under the trusted Pharmasave South Stormont identity. It could show the full depth of the service and give patients a clear, credible place to understand the specific therapy they need and to get in touch.
The Challenge
Compounding is a specialized service, and most patients do not know which pharmacies offer it, let alone the full range one pharmacy can compound. Pharmasave South Stormont had deep compounding expertise and a strong reputation across Long Sault and Ingleside, but its compounding capability lived inside a busy general-pharmacy website, where the depth of the service was easy to miss. To grow compounding across the Cornwall area, the pharmacy needed a focused home that could present the specialty in full, explain each therapy to the patients searching for it, and earn trust quickly, without pulling focus from the established pharmacy brand.
Our Approach
As a long-term partner to Pharmasave South Stormont, having previously built the Long Sault Travel Clinic website, Centrix already understood the brand, the standards, and the patients. Rather than crowd the compounding service onto the main pharmacy site, Centrix gave it a dedicated home: Compounding Wellness, a compounding microsite on a compounding-focused domain, presented under the trusted Pharmasave South Stormont identity, so it carried the pharmacy's credibility while giving compounding the room to be explained properly.
What We Did
A dedicated home for a deep compounding menu.
The heart of the project was giving the pharmacy's compounding specialization the room it deserves. The site presents eight distinct, education-rich compounding service areas across non-sterile and specialized compounding: ointments, creams, and pain-management topicals; suppositories; tablets, capsules, and sublinguals; liquids; bio-identical hormone therapy (BHRT); paediatric compounding, with flavouring, gummies, and lollipops; veterinary medications; and cosmetic and anti-aging solutions. Each service area has its own patient-education page and FAQs, so patients understand the specific therapy they need rather than a single generic idea of compounding. That depth, a real, well-segmented compounding menu with each service given its own home, is what the site is built around.
A fully bilingual build.
The site was built in both English and French, broadening its reach across the Cornwall area and making the service accessible to more of the community the pharmacy serves.
A working site, not a brochure.
Beyond presentation, the site was built to be useful: prescription refill access, a wellness newsletter signup, site search, and an accessibility toolbar make it a practical tool for patients rather than just a place to read about the service. It also surfaces the pharmacy's Central Fill offering as a simple contact channel, so other pharmacies, veterinarians, and naturopathic practitioners interested in outsourced compounding can reach the pharmacy directly.
Trust and credibility, surfaced throughout.
The signals that make patients comfortable choosing a compounding pharmacy are surfaced across the site: the credentialed pharmacist-owners, professional photography, and clear references to the compliance standards the pharmacy works to, so a patient sees a credible, professional service from the first impression.
A two-property approach.
Alongside the new standalone compounding microsite, Centrix also refreshed the compounding page on the pharmacy's existing main website, which continues to draw its own local traffic, so both properties support the compounding service and reinforce each other rather than compete.
Built for a regulated field.
Pharmacy is a regulated, health-sensitive field, and the site was built accordingly: it presents services and patient education rather than medical advice, and handles inquiries with care. Centrix is not a compliance advisor, but understanding the boundaries a compounding pharmacy works within means the site builds trust without creating risk.
